The World Legends Pro T20 League began on Monday. The tournament features six teams and over 90 legendary cricketers competing in a festival-
style T20 event at a single venue.
- Dates and Venue: The tournament runs for ten days, from January 26 to February 4, 2026. All matches are held at the 1919 Sportz Cricket Stadium in Verna, Goa.
- Participating Teams: Six franchises are competing for the inaugural title:
- Delhi Warriors (Captain: Harbhajan Singh)
- Dubai Royals (Captain: Shikhar Dhawan)
- Gurugram Thunders (Captain: Thisara Perera)
- Maharashtra Tycoons (Captain: Dinesh Karthik)
- Pune Panthers (Captain: Kieron Pollard)
- Rajasthan Kings (Captain: Eoin Morgan)
- Star Players: The league features an impressive line-up of former international stars, including Chris Gayle, Dale Steyn, Shane Watson, Alastair Cook, Ross Taylor, and Stuart Broad, alongside Indian greats like Shikhar Dhawan, Harbhajan Singh, Yusuf Pathan, and Ambati Rayudu.
- Tournament Format: The six teams play each other once in a single round-robin league stage. The top four teams advance to the semi-finals on February 3, and the final will be played on February 4, 2026.
