Verizon outage lasts 9 hours, heavily impacting Atlanta.

Verizon customers across the country were hit with a surprise outage

 Wednesday that lasted more than nine hours. More than 1 million 

customer were impacted from coast to coast, and there is still no clear 

answer as to why the outage lasted so long.
